Master Classes
Alan Scofield has been nationally acclaimed for his original workshop course, Musicality for Dancers. This course marries classical technique to musical theory so dancers fully embody deeper expression of their artistry. Alan developed the course at Lincoln Center in New York and began teaching it at San Francisco Ballet, Sacramento Ballet and Marin Ballet.
Its popularity spread to many conferences across the United States such as Regional Dance America and at the RDA National Festival in Arizona 2019.
Mr. Scofield has been an inspiration to thousands of young dancers and artists. I have experienced over 26 years of learning from him first as a teacher and later as a mentor. He teaches more then movement and music with dance but, a deep enriching level of passion of the art. Mr. Scofield makes each note and movement a vital part of executing the artistry of dance. His enthusiasm motivates you to want to push yourself to a masterful level elevating the dance to a new level of art.”
