Alan Scofield Teaches Contemporary Jazz
Alan’s contemporary jazz classes offer his own unique style as well as preserving the classic form of jazz dance taught to him by jazz masters from both coasts (Ailey, Dunham, Mock, Cayou, Reyes).
His intermediate dance class at 10:45 on Saturday mornings at Roco dance has become legendary, attended by devoted students who love to move, express and perform in class. Set at Roco’s beautiful, well lit, studio space, the energy uplifts everyone present.
Alan makes sure that everyone is welcome and supported in his class, a practice that creates a positive community for all.
Dancers can purchase a class card or come in on a drop-in basis.
